Well as some of you are aware, my wife isn't the biggest fan of my Charger.

So last night I thought I would sit her down and watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8Pvc0vxwuk regarding some of the history and nostalgia surrounding this car.

After the video was complete, I looked over at her and said, "So now do you kind of get where I'm coming from, and why I have such a passion and excitement for this car"?

She looked at me with this glassed over look, the kind of look "Apparently", I give her when I'm trying to watch "American Muscle " on the speed channel, and she is talking to me about what happened on Ugly Betty…

I'm going shopping…..She said.

I give up. lol

The new Charger doesn't really have much to do with any 'original' or previous Charger. Gee, wasn't that last one a little import 4 banger rebadged?

Nice car, but it ain't a continuation of some special lineage.

The real point of the thread (wife's inability to appreciate the finer things) will come home after you've been married a long time. She'll come to regard the time you spend in the garage with your baby as 'her' quality time. Just let her think that as long as she wants. (just liked the smilie)

I used to tell my Girlfriend "you do your Hobbies I'll go work on/ clean/ cruise in/ect.... my car." She never really appreciated it until she drove it.

After that she started putting money into it and tried to "buy my part out" after we broke up .

I told her to f^ck off and gave her the furinature.

Now I only date girls that like cars.

2003 2.5s with a 5 speed. Love it, gets better mileage than my 1994 Jetta 1.8l auto that it replaced, and it's fun. Never thought I'd say that about a big four door sedan. Torque steer is brutal though.
