OK just snooping around V8 buick forum and saw thread where parts off 86 87GN are pretty much straight bolt on for 455 .This includes pulleys and brackets .The set up looks near stock ,so i am just seeing if any off this stuff is available & what the price range might be 4 this stuff .I wouldn't be doing this this year unless i become rich & famous just curious is all . later bake

well. I can answer that question,
to find all the brackets and pulleys and the belt tensioner will run you nearly $400
then you'll need to buy a A/C bypass pulley

it can be done. not cheaply though

thanx 4 the help most yards out here are cleaned out or the hei is junk .The one i have been using isn't that bad but i thought if i could get a rebuild kit it would be worth it .Any way thanx 4 the info & i'll watch the sun rise on beautiful baker lake(it's a 20 acre pond that is surrounding my property, lots of run off )
