What is ideal motor oil type for 1987 Honda Accord?

What's the difference of 5W30, 10W30, 20W30? What would I use?

Valvoline is the best oil for any vehicle. They also have a brand for older vehicles. You choose the weight according to the climate where you live. 10W30 actually means 10 weight 30. Warm climates should use 10W30 or 10W40. Cooler climates should use 5W30.

I have an 89 Honda Accord and I use 20W50 b/c of the miles on the motor........the more miles you have the heavier the oil b/c it helps with the wear and tear on your motor.......thinner oil like 10W30 are used when the mileage isnt that high
