Blower motor is a really common problem on these - plug wires run too close to the blower motor and end up causing electrical interference. I've looked and it doesn't look like too hard of a fix... my DeVille has an insulator installed on the blower assembly to keep the wires away, I've also bundled the wires to keep them away.
