the cpu was probably performance tuned for racing specs. It just means that certain adjustments have been made to get more out of the engine.

If you're talking about the JDM Honda Integra or USDM Acura RSX, then you would have a K series engine.
Hondata makes the K-pro awesome aftermarket ECU.
