How much for Used engine

I just bought a 1995 talon esi for 500, and it needed a new head gasket, so rather than bothering with a new head gasket, i figure ill just do an engine swap. From a Parts yard, how much could i expect to pay for a working engine with aroune 180-200k on it? I know its alot of km, but i need something fast and im low on money. 1995-1998 talon/eclipse non turbo 2.0 engines and older avenger engines will work correct? How rare would it be to find a working engine for sale? Im going to call around tomorow, but i would like an estimate.

You could probably pick up a 420a motor for 400-600 bucks depending on where u get it. As far as the motors being the same they are for the 95-99 talon NT and the avenger 4cyl. Now im not positive but i think the 95 sebrings had the same motor aswell. But in all honesty your probably better doing the headgasket if you can managae to do it yourself.....
