maybe on HT. there are no b20z's that are 10.0/1 c.r. its 9.7/1. 1 full point of compression equates into 4% increase in power, but, i had a jdm b20b that was 9.2/1 c.r, no knock sensor. anyway 4% of 140 is 5.6hp. my point being, power is achieved thru displacement more than c.r. therefore a b20b and b20z will pretty much make the same power. so, $600 for a shortblock that might make 5.6hp more than a b20b longblock that goes for $500 is
