ya man..in hanover place called the steel shop. I had a set of 17's and one got a crack inside.. they welded the crack, grinded down the weld and sprayed that part of the rim and it worked perfectly fine..i sold that set of rims and the guy is still driving on them to this day.

i paid 20 bux for the job..had to pay 10 bux to get the tire removed and installed later on

How bad is it? Sometime's it's better to get a single new wheel if it's still around, if you care about perfect balancing and w/e...

yea, thats what i heard that when you crack your rim its best of all to just buy a new one rather then fixing the old one cause it will never be the same

once its cracked and you weld it, it would never be the same, you wont get proper balance and it could leak

I can speak from experience, I cracked and bent a discontinued rim, I spent 200 bux and it's perfect. I have a wheel balancer and I checked without the tire just too check and it was perect.

As for not sealing they run the rim on a lathe, there are no uneven beads.

I guess you get what you pay for, but it's been 5 years and no issues.

Same Problem

yeh, cracked rims can be fixed, but it depends on the crack. i have a rim that could not be fixed because the crack runs along the rim and its lost all structural integrity.
ANYWAY now im looking for a replacement which is a B1TCH coz the rims are discontinued. i would REALLY appreciate it if sum1 could help me source one of these f0kk3rs....

I NEED 1 eagle alloy type 077 (saleen style) rim. specs; 18"/9", bolt pattern 5/4.5, preferably polished finish, new or used (as long as its in good condition)

any leads would be appreciated

otherwise i guess i have three good ones for sale lol
with rubber
