Buy a scooter...it's safe, if ur a beginner u don't wanna kill yourself with a motorcycle, u have no experience..

Start out on a 250 (you will find them any where looking like any bike be it a harley or the general sports) and it is even better if you get a used 1 as once you develope your skills where you become extremely confident on the bike you are riding then look at upgrading to the next level and then you can try them all and really find out what suits you. Also make sure you have all the gear ie approved full faced helmet (for your country/state), jacket (with body armour), pants (with body amour), boots, gloves (for winter/summer) and you will find that if you should ever get into a situation where you will hit the pavement (laying the bike down whilst riding) you are covered in keeping yur head and body safe from gravel rash of a serious kind and damage to your head of a serious kind.Do all the motorcycle courses available to you as these will help hone the skills to keep you safe whilst riding and help in reacting safely in any situation. So good luck, have fun, relax, stay upright and stay safe.
