I have had 3 sportsters and ever time after buying one I wished I had bought something else. I own a 2001 softail deuce. I love it. The sportster is very tall, top heavy, and resale is not very good. If you can't afford a big Harley then get a rice burner. That is slang for a Japan bike. Good luck.
