Will installing a 12V battery parallel to another 12V battery to increase cap ruin

d magneto of a scooter? Current capacity of battery is 5AH. Need 6AH more to boost it to 11AH for an HID headlight.

funny question... Answer is yes. When you run batteries in parallel the amperage increases and voltage stays the same, in series the amperage stays the same and the voltage doubles.
