Help!!

hey i have 96 windstar (220k) 3.8

and recently my motor is running too rich
i can smell gas at start up
i get about 12mpg
and after letting the car idle for 5 mins
i find a big spill of fuel on the ground

what should i do? and i also have all my o2 sensors gone would that be
the effect?

sorry just in case i didnt precise

the spill is coming from the tip

i can rev it above 1500rpms and see fuel drip

The tip? of the gas tank? or does the fuel leak from the engine bay?

In either case, you should have it checked out by a mechanic ASAP... driving with excess fuel spilling everywhere is a recipe for disaster

no the fuel is only dripping from the tip
a (ridiculous amount too)

and yea i will bring it tomorrow when i get time
