How can I get a motorcycle decal off my 'cycle?

I just bought a 2005 gsxr and I have a whole bunch of decals on it which is fine but there is one I want to get off and I'm not sure if Acetone willl damage the paint or....? maybe I should use goo-gone? Any suggestions? Thank you!!!

Acetone will most likely damage the paint.I would try 91% isopropyl alcohol first (drug store) as it is cheap, and will dissolve most pressure sensitive adhesives. Double check that it will not harm the paint in some hidden spot.

two things: isopropyl alocohol will start to loosen the adhesive and WD40 will then help it slide off without scratching your bike.
