i may be going itr so this engine would be for sale, the engine is still in the car so you know what your buying, test drive no problem

all mentainence was done at acura 2000. i am the second owner

this engine has only seen synthetic oil from when it rolled off the dealership, have papers to prove

oil changes done every 4000k with castrol syntec

im looking for around 1000 beacause how the engine's been treated and maintained

i have all records of maintainence since day ONE! its only seen synthetic oil from day one (have papers to prove, from acura), timing belt done 10k ago and more...

B18B1's r'nt worthe that much just for motor.. maybe $500 tops. check local wrecking yard's.

u can get a CRV motor from the same year car for $500

but.. u can always aim high i guess.. GL with the sale

why do you kids say things that doesn't need to be said? i'm trying to sell something, why point out what YOU think it's worth? I said its maintained ridiculously perfect thats why im asking that price. if you dont want to buy then keep unrelated comments out.

if you dont think its worth 1000 then dont buy it. and i didnt say my price was firm

please show me a b18b in this condition sell for $500. This is prolly better than most B18b's selling at these japanese engine places. It's still in the car, everything has been done at acura, all parts on there are OEM. the guy has a full binder full of records and services done at acura.

Im not interested but for those potential buyers, when was the last time the timing belt and water pump were done? Was the headgasket ever replaced? Coolant flush done with the water pump? etc. A little more info would be great. Good luck on the sale and bump for a clean motor

and your questions answered:

reciept from acura from first owner says timing belt was done at 117 484k

water pump done the same time, along with a coolant flush

head gasket was never replaced

i also just did coolant flush (4k ago) because i didnt find this reciept till after i did it.. i did it with honda coolant..and changed the thermostat

NO offence but if its been done at ACURA 2000 lol prolly not done well...those guys are hacks lol... sometimes we get there come backs at my honda shop very poor workmanship they dont care about what there doing they rush...dont be surprised if ur synthetic oil went in there box and they just used tere 5w20 bulk seen it done....but yeah goodluck homie...u will never get 1000, but u will get 500$ for sure

well maybe their like that now, how do you know who worked there in 1998 when the car was bought and started the maintainence there?

i agree i heard some things frrom acura 2000 a couple of weeks ago, but maybe they do shitty work because of the guys that work there now, you cant give acura 2000 a bad name because of a couple of guys that do half *** jobs
