actually thats not true. Cars that are 20 years old are no longer exempt from the drive clean program. Only cars from 1987 or older are exempt. This is due to Ontario's deficit and their projections that the drive clean equipment the gov paid for won't be paid for till 2014
Yes, thve gov change the rules 2-3 years ago, only 87 or older cars can have drive clean exemption, 88 or after still need e-test for every 2 years, doesn't matter if it is 20 or 30 years old car.
