As far as small Items go, eBay is the place where Toronto Police Services and the Toronto Transit Commission sell stolen as well as "lost & found" items.
Larger items like Cars etc are auctioned off at North Toronto Auction (Innisfil area).
They have a site, but I just checked it and it shows a server error..
