I need to get the smell of beer out of my car.
Somehow, the better part of a 40 of Old English got spilled under my passenger seat in my car a few weeks ago. I thought if I ignored it, the smell would go away..buy was I wrong..it seems its getting worse.
The car only has like 6k on it..its brand new and its starting to smell like theres a dead body in the trunk. Money is no object in this issue, where do I take it to get this issue corrected?
Help..me..please..I'm afraid I'm going to get stopped by ride, the officer is going to stick his head in my car and I'm going to get my car towed.

...lol there's nothing like cracking a cold one out at the lake enjoying the summer...
I hate to admit it but Fabreeze makes a non-scented odor remover that actually seems to work.
I used it to get the smoke smell out of my shop when one of my battery operated drills was melted and stunk like burnt plastic and there was black soot everywhere.
It's such a 'girly' thing I hate to mention it, but it does work.

Don't just mask the smell, actually remove it or else it will cause problems later on. If you want to do it yourself go to walmart and pick up up a bottle of the turtle wax carpet shampoo. It works great. You can pick up a steam cleaner chemical as well that will remove odors (I use one specifically for animal dander, there's all different kinds of brands out there though.)
Vacuum the carpet well and brush it with some kind of a bristle brush. If you get the Turtle wax stuff just use the brush that comes with it.
Get an empty spray bottle and mist the area with tap water, then spray on the turtle wax stuff (just mist it, dont pile it on). Brush it into the carpet till the foam disappears then vacuum it out. You may need to respray it with the tap water until you've got it completely removed. If you can still see suds, keep brushing and vacuuming it and adding a little bit of water.
It's to cold out to get the interior to wet so be light with both the water and the shampoo.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

You'll probably need to air it out good. It's still cold and wet out, but you should try to leave your window open a bit to vent. Take it in for a shampooing, they'll clean it and use something to over-ride the scent. Some scents really get into the car fabric so you may want to replace any fabric where possible (ie. floor mats).
