How to adjust coilovers

How to adjust coilovers
i have a set of R1 coilovers i believe, im not sure exactly, but i know their blue in colour, they came with a allen key, and a (2) hook like tools, now what the heck do i do to get the car to drop. do i have to unlock anything with the allen key or do i just crank the two discs with the tools and then screw it down?
