How much tint should I get? I was wanting 5% on the sides and back and 35% on the front... saw that on a black truck but would that be too dark? I was thinking that since my Camaro's blue I should probably go a little lighter so as not to get pulled over as much for it. Maybe 15% on back and 20% on the sides? What does everyone think?

I think that 15% back and 20% sides is dark enough.. And that first option I hope you wernt talking about tinting the windshild..

I have 15% all around and it is pretty dark... 5% would be too dark, you wouldn't be able to see out to back up at night, and you would constantly get pulled over...

I got 5% on the back and you can't see **** backing up at night, but it doesn't bother me, I think 5% on the sides is too dark though.

i have 20 on the sides and thats dark at night pulling onto a fast road or something...so i say 15 on rear, 35 or so on sides.

i want it to be pretty dark, it's not my daily driver so i don't have to worry about visibility as much with it.

I got 30% all around and its not as dark as I hoped. Maybe sometime I will go darker, and get 20% all the way around. For me 5% is way to dark.. And Im sure 20 is dark enough.

go to a tint shop and see what they have, they should have a sample that you can hold up to your car (they may even know what you can get away with) some states don't require you to be able to see out the back as long as the car has 2 outside mirrors

Yeah i have 5% on the sides and i can't see **** unless i roll down the window. I'm getting it retinted sometime soon. Never been pulled over with it. I actually got pulled over once but he never said anything about it.
