ZL1 Hood Scoop

DG Motorsports is selling a bolt on ZL1 scoop for those that don't want to buy the whole thing.

They have the regular scoop for $69.95:

And they also have a carbon fiber one for $129.95:

...dude for $129 I'm almost game.... I'd take it somewhere and try to get it professionally molded in or something so it doesn't look just bolted on, but **** $129 for a carbon fiber scoop.. that'd be tight.

yeah, the scoops can be molded to look a part of the hood. It's be a little harder to do it with a carbon fiber one, but I'm sure it could be done. With the carbon fiber, though, it's be a little bit harder to see its just bolted on, too, because it would be a different color than the hood.

I posted it this cause I thought Chris may be interested in the carbon fiber one, I know he likes carbon fiber, and I think I recall him mentioning the ZL1 hood as a hood he was considering...though I like the "ZL2" better.

That's an old picture, I think that's the entire hood and not just the scoop.

I like the hood scoop but in reality we all know the F-Body hood is not that flat.

That looks like what rksport calls the camaro big block hood. I like the ss hood better though.

those scoops while in concept are great, they will crack the hood flexes every time it's opened, and molded scoops don't work well
