Stripes...

I've been considering a couple of choices for Mayhem, and am interested in everyone's input.

This style hockey stripes, w/o top stripes.

If I do this, I will also be making a stripe that runs along the outer side of the ram air scoops.

Checkered Flag Stripes.

Of course mine would be for the Camaro, but to best get the idea the T/A pic works the best for the hood.

I'm also working on a 'prototype' of a hockey stick that doesn't taper down to the point, but stays thicker and cuts of at an angle at the edge of the fender or wraps. Most likely will cut off, though. And also possibly adding some blue ghost flames at the edges of the hood and hockey stripe,(if I get good enough from the practice that I think I can do it) as seen here:

I hoesntly don't know what to tell yah. I love the idea about the flames on the stripes... couse that was something i played with a couple times before anyway.

But the thought of them staying thick like that looks wierd to me. Standard hockey sticks liek th efirst pic are a better idea IMO. I like anaversary flags but just a bit common and wouldnt' fit Mayhem's "uniqueness". I think your best bet would be the standard hockey sticks with those flames.

I think I am anti-hockey stripes as much as Danielle is anti-Berger panel....so, I am gonna have to say go with the checkered stripes like on the TA.

I can't stand hockey stripes either, except on very few cars.

I agree it's a first gen thing the body just doesn't look right for it. Stripes are supposed to accentuate body lines the 4th gen cars don't have that hard fender line

These cars were meant to have stripes on them, its part of their heritage.

That said, get white stripes on the ram air

white stripes are outta the question, no matter what style. Whatever stripes I may get will be black.

Also, consider the fact that I am most likely to be going with an old-school style to the car with the wheels, and various other things...

the ones that are the basic solid stripe? nah, those are way to common and plain for me.
