The last few weeks I have been really liking the monte carlo ss's I am thinking of trying to get one like that is not in real good condition but has not been wrecked!!! and fix it up and do the body work as I get the time I really like the way they look I know they are heavier and all but I think I my put that 350 I have in the roc in it if I get one. what do you all know about them what do they run in the quarter stock and what are problems with them??

they are a heavy car (I had a '79 with t tops really cool car) they had 305's stock so not too much performance wise

My buddy has one- ran high 15's, 305= gutless IMO...350 would be better

My mother used to have one(late 80s). I loved that car. I'd really like to get one for a daily driver, but the prices on those babies are pretty high around here.

Yeah I know the prices are kind of high but I thought I might find just a rolling body and build it has I got the time. I really like my friends his is an 86 SS
