please help me find some gauges for my 01 camaro ss.
i cant seem to find any gauges that really catch my attention.
someone please help me. i tried the one from nu image, and it was
absolutley horrific. fyi, don't get nu image.
and can anyone help me find needle kits, because i dont like the stock
orange needles. please help!!!!!!!
i have the nu image platinum series gauges.
problem with nu image is that its not compatable with my 01 ss. the gauge face
has prepunched holes and they are in the wrong spot. i realized this after i had
installed the gauge and there was a hole above the speedometer.
the company says its for 99-01z28, and said it would work
for my ss, theyr'e wrong. so now im stuck with a gauge i'm never gonna use.
on top of that i wasn't really impresed. the gauge looked generic and wasn't
very appealing with the `nu image' logo and `platinum series' name on it.
maybe nu image has good gauges, but its not the right choice for my car.
i like the idea of having blue numbers light up my gauge, but the stock orange
needles just don't mix with the blue numerals. i'm open to anything as long
as it looks good. please give me some direction. if any one wants the gauge i
have let me know if not, im tossing it

Well it kinda depends on what you're looking for. If it's a simple white faced, there's a hunderd companys that make those but if youre looking for something a little more wild than maybe the reverse indiglow ones. Which ones from NuImage did you have? I have th elback faced flames gauges from them and i love it. No probs here. As far as the needles... i dont knwo of any needle "kits" out there but you can change the color fo your exsisting ones now by simply sanding off the orange from the back of these and color them with a magic marker with a color of your choice. Just a thought.

Werd, I love my Nu Image Black Faced Red Flame gauges... they worked excellent on my car. Sorry you had problems, are you sure you installed it correctly? Same as everyone has said, you might want reverse indiglo gauges they're kinda cool, and then just remove the needle sand the orange off and use a marker to color it blue and tada all done.
