taking out the little box in front of the console
didnt really know where to put this, but anyways how does that little box with the cubby hole and the lighter on the left side come out. its annoying as hell and rattles so much, i know there is like a bolt right in the middle on the bottom of it but it feels like theres something else or like its part of the whole console. please tell me it unbolts really easily. thanks

ok, i got it out. yea it is, it has the one bolt in the back of it and then i had to take the whole console out and on the under side of it it is kinda melted/has these little clip things, i just ground them off with a mini grinder and used a screwdriver to pop the remaining crap off. it looks like its missing something now (cause it is)lol, but im eventually gonna put some gauges there or something that will look pretty cool.

it didnt look too bad but it was a shitty design, the peice on the passenger side litteraly snaps into place. it doesnt look too bad right now i just need to get something in there.
actually i like the 93-96 consoles better, and not just because i have one. and i like the camaro steering wheel on mine better than some of the ones that come on the ls1 body
