Hey guys! Trying to get some more interest in a freshly revamped website and club. Starting to get things moving for northern meets and get to gethers, but in order to do that we need more central and northern IL members. Currently most of our members are in southern IL but we would like to see this change!!! so if you live in IL and want to be a part of an all fbody club that is covering all of the state, or you just want to have some fun and meet new people and b.s. with us and also for some tech support and such....PLEASE click this link and look around and go to the forums!!!

Isn't there already an F-body association car club for all of Illinois, centered in Illinois, even sectioned into north and south Illinois?
What's the purpose of having another duplicate club? Divisiveness? Trying to have more groups with fewer members?
What's the difference between Midwest F-body Assoc. and this Ill F-body Association?

well ILFBA has been around for quite awhile but things fell apart kinda with a new revamp. and things are just now starting to get going again.

thing with MFBA is they dont try to do events anywhere in the central il or southern il regions. ILFBA wants to expand enough to do events all over IL and MFBA isnt just IL. its the whole midwest.

Im on MFBA as well. but whats wrong with another fbody club. this isnt a pay to be a member type club....things are being planned right now for a central il meet and later on a chicago meet.

apparently some people can get sick of fbodies..... i know i have no problem what so ever being a part of multiple fbody groups and meeting tons of new people.

That's good to know.
You may wish to point out on introductory threads that the club is non-dues paying, and perhaps what your focus is. Are you guys drag racers? Modding geeks? show & shine gurus? V-6 underbody lighting and other Riceriffic jazz? Or hang-out-and-BBQ-and-BS types? Helps to know there is a difference, and what the difference is.
Pointing out that you are not Chicago-centric can help attract the very people you want.

but we arent focused on one particular aspect. we hit up tracks, we go to shows, we have cruises, bbqs, etc. and we do have a few v6s even. but no underbody lights as of yet lol.

we're all about just having a good time, meeting new people, and basing it around what we love, cars....more specifically, fbodies. :) just trying to expand so we can have big get togethers!
