Michigan FBody 2nd Annual Season Opening Get Together - May 13th
 

Event: The 2nd Annual MiFbody.com Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff!
Where: Stony Creek Metropark, Shelby Township, Michigan

Fees: $4 Park Entry; Show is FREE!

With the 1st of the year only hours away, the Michigan FBody Association is kicking off the 2006 year with the announcement and official discussion thread for the 2006 Michigan Fbody Association 2nd Annual Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff. The two most important aspects of the kickoff were location and date. The MiFbody community has voted, and these variables are now set. ALL FBodies are welcome to attend. Other vehicles are welcome to come, but will only be eligible for the Best of Show: Non-FBody Vehicle award. Due to the nature of this event, weather is a major determining factor. Should the date approach and rain is very likely, we will reschedule for the following Saturday. As with any event at a public metropark, alcohol is NOT allowed and jeopardizes the show. Likewise, burnouts, donuts, and other acts that could jeopardize the car show with park officials is highly discouraged. Stony Creek is gracious enough to allow us to use their park for our shows, let's not ruin the opportunity. Following in the steps of last year's 1st Meet & Greet, at the end of the car show we will be cruising around the park and out to the local Dairy Queen. From there, we will then cruise as a group to Woodward to kickoff the cruising and car show season. Now is the time to get the word out, tell everyone you know with an fbody about the show. Last year's event we had about 25 FBodies. Let's shoot to double it: 50 fbodies! Lastly, let's make this a great event with great attitudes. Hope to see everyone there!

I probably won't make the seaon opener unless things start looking better out here, but I will be at Camaro Superfest, even if by some odd chance I have to go without Mayhem, God forbid.
