MiFbody Season Finale G2G! Oct 22nd / 23rd (Weather Dependant)
 

Just thought I'd pass the word along, my website (The Michigan FBody Association) is planning to have a season finale get together. Just a final meet & greet to meet new faces and make new friends in the Michigan area with the same interests at heart: FBODIES! Because we're planning this in a very informal, impromptu fashion, it's going to be just a get together at Stony Creek MetroPark tenatively set for October 22nd or 23rd ( whichever day has better weather. ) Wanted to make sure it was after M10, as I'm sure most of you plan to go to that as well. In any case, if you're interested in going, it's going to be 100% free. You'll just have to bring whatever food you want to eat. If interested, feel free to let me know either here, or at my website MiFbody.com. I'm not worried about the name of the event, I'm just wanting to get as many FBody enthusiasts in the area together as possible, make new friends, and network some more. So come out, show off your FBody, and have a great time!

wish I could make it out, but alas, Mayhem is in no shape to make it there, lol. Next year I will be up that way. Probably for Camaro Superfest. I'm going to try and take my vacation that week.


I thought that there was a $4 fee to get in the park?

If you go to Superfest, you'd rock. I plan on staying at the Headquarters Hotel this time and doing the whole 3 day stint instead of driving there Saturday, driving home Saturday night, going there Sunday, and driving home Sunday night.

that's what I'd most likely do, too, if I took my vacation then.

I think Danielle has a good idea, I'll see about taking my vacation and going to Superfest during it.

:thumbsup: Seriously, ProjectCamaro get together at Superfest! That would be amazingly cool. You all definitely won't be let down: Superfest was down by 30 cars with the previous show of 340 Camaros, but still 340 CAMAROS IN ONE PARKING LOT! It was awesome.

I'll try but my wife will probably want to take our vacation during out wedding anniversary for some reason. I'll work on it, just make sure you remind me when tax season comes because we normally use our refund for vacations.

that would be pretty cool. I really want to do this, but it also depends on my husband's vacation time, too. If he doesn't get one this summer (if he is at the new job I don't think he will), I know he won't want me to come on my own. But maybe we'll be able to just take a few days off if we can't take a whole vacation then.

Thinking about starting about 10am on Saturday, the 22nd. I'll have to get there at 8 to get the picnic spot.
