Northern Run...
 

Anyone interested in doing a run up north on cars...? We do it on bikes and I killed mine last year so until i get a new one, i need a fix for my cravings...

I know of a few pretty Cool places up north but everyone will probibly think its too far north.

200+km North East of Toronto too much to get two lane Lake bed Highway with level ditches??? Nice twisty Highway all the way there as well.

I did most of northern ontario on a motorcycle... and its heaven when you're going around turns there while pinned...

I would like to see the same being done on a car... Some of the highways I would check out would be Elephant Lake, 118, 121, SR13, SR 17, Coopers fall etc etc etc...

Yeah, Haliburton representin! Haha There are some twisty roads up here for sure. 118 isn't bad, 35 is a fun road too. It's a bigger highway and you rip on it pretty good. I know a few guys up here who'd be down for that

The C7 cruise goes up there. Ive gone for the past two years and it was sick..

Its a cruise that was orginized by the C7 Celica crew..Basically every car club is invited to meet at a certain spot and then one group goes at a time to whatever location..Its a sick cruise..Heres some dub pics from last year. There was about 5 dubs all together but VW guys dont like driving their cars through roads that dip 3 inchs..

I hit a deer with a Mustang on county road 1.

I learned to drive on those roads when I was a kid.

I remember G1 Racing My First Chevette against my buddy's Omni on the flats On County Rd 1 . LMAO

Sad little race to 120km/hr. :dunno: We were 16 and didn't get busted. :headbang:

Had a few more since then... went a little quicker than 120 though. :smokin:

Haha I know those flats all too well. Dirty roads, way too rough. So this cruise, is it a race, like rally style, or just a bunch of people getting together and goin driving? As I've said I could definitely round up some guys around here who'd be interested
