went on saturday. great weather and sweet rides... the open-wheel cars were pretty sick, not as sweet as the speed world challenge tsx's and rsx's.... then there was the viper's, vette's, porshe's and the cadi's... wow, those cadi's were loud. And the last qualifying runs were the canadian touring cars, few hondas and acuras, one teg with a jdm front end, lost it somehow, must've tapped someone. One 'bubbleback' civic, 2 rex's, an 06 civic was running in third behind a Silvia (2nd) and an RX7 (1st)... one RX7 was shooting flames out the tail, pretty sick. There was also one S-deuce, lost control or got hit from behind, cause he's whole back end was smashed. Didn't see any crashes, but i did see one porshe lose control, kinda surprised me, and a few vette's were slipping in that same corner, turn 11. Kind of an s-turn with turn 10. best place to take pics (turns 10 & 11).
I recommend anyone going next year, as long as the weather is good of course. It was a great atomoshpere; the sounds, the food, the cars. Great day out for any car guy.:smokin: |
