I broke something in my car its under the control arm, and its got like 3 bolts on each side and i believe it holds the rotor and brakes and thing straight. Anywaz i tried taking it off but the bolts will not budge any1 have an idea of how to get it off. Gladly appreciated. Thanks

Lower ball joint?

The bolts may be riveted to the lower control arm... So you to verify 100% that it isn't.

Telling us what car you own would be a start.

If they are just bolt's.. well... keep going at it with lube... and muscle... If this is your first project on a car then it'll take you a while...

Supplying the model and year of the car is always a good idea in these type of posts. :hitwithro

Careful not to strip the bolts.

drift_n_shift 09-26-2006 05:12 PM

junkyard for a cheap one... i dont think YOU can install it with ease. maybe get someone to help you.. ask a few shops around your area

rabbitman 09-26-2006 05:32 PM

You can put the struts in yourself, BUT, you will HAVE to take it for an alignment after. Unless you know how to set the camber.
