Question Lowering 86 Supra

Hey guys,

I'm wondering about some shops where Id be able to find Eibach or Tein springs to lower my 86 Supra. Would Canadian Tire be reliable and/or cheap and even have them?

Im in Hamilton so if anyone knows somewhere close by.

Thanks!

around 2 years my frind got eibach's for his 89 Supra from canadian tire, they cost him around $430 if I remember plus he had to wait 2 days since it was a special order,I don't know if they still carry eibach but its worth a try, also try part source(same company as ct)

CT will have eibach springs but i am not 100% about tein. They will have to order them in and I know sometimes ordered products can have certain mishaps. Usually its a young guy doing all the work orders. i worked there back in highschool and sometimes ordering aftermarket products like that was a nightmare for the customers. One downfall is you have to pay upfront ..reason being people would order and never pick up the iteams. This was an issues because CT ended up having to pay all these shipping costs. I'm pretty sure thats how they still do it.

Thanks guys, Ill see what I can find, because Id rather not have to order them in. (I know ordering in can be a nightmare!)

I'll likely try to get the Eibachs.

Thanks.

^^ I just picked up my 89 turbo, i was also looking into eibachs for it. Cheapest I found them for was $320 (bnib), which now i think is pretty good considering "midnight racers" friend paid 420. I hear 320 is the best price you'll find and have yet to see cheaper. Let me know if you'd like a set and i'll let my parts guy know.

Well those prices seem high! You can order them from TireRack.com for $220 USD! Also using the supplier locater on Eibach.com I found a place that is an actual supplier in Hamilton so I'm gonna check out their prices. I would rather order from Tire Rack (VERY reputible) and even after the S&H and conversion to Canadian you would save $60 EASY!!

So I'll let you know what the price is if i can find out at this store. Otherwise I would rather order and save the money!!!

Cool, I live like 5 minutes from Centre mall. I will hopefully get around to doing this in the spring since I won't have the Supra back on the road until May likely... since I want to keep it as pristene as possible.

How much are they at the Canadian Tire?
