Mk3 Supra with Soarer front end conversion and its 1jz

adamo 02-17-2005 09:51 PM

I took these pics sometime ago, but it's the same front end as on that conversion. This Toyota though is called the Soarer.

goneinsixtyseconds 02-18-2005 07:17 AM

Because the front end is of a Toyota Soarer, thats where you get the 'Soa". The rear is of a MK3 Supra, thus the 'pra' so the 'soapra'.
Kinda like the Sileighty:

None the less, props go to the individual that converted this one-off car.

As one of my ladies would say "Its beautiful, mmmmmmm"

That is a job well done and I have to give it to this guy for originallity and for being smart enough to go with the 8 (no replacement for displacement). Can we get some numbers on this thing, I'd like to see what the power output and perhaps top speed are on it.

BRAVO! :appl: :thumbsup

(Geee I wonder why I like it so much, lmao :smilie_fi )

ricernoob 02-18-2005 05:13 PM

stop in making it sound like this is the unveiling of a super car. it's a 20 yr old car or so, so relax.

u could've just shown it without the big words :eyes:

hilarious.

MRAD 02-18-2005 05:23 PM

If you have a problem just stay out of the in thread, nobody asked for your opinion and some of us prefer something original to a civic with a piece of 2cent plastic hanging off the side of the car and and an exhaust that sounds like someone broke a vacume. And actually this may not be a super car, but at least it is original, well done and something many of us enjoy.

:gotooprah

Keep this stuff on the talking section, we dont need this here.

8? It has a 1JZ-GTE (stock soarer engine) which is an 2.5L inline 6 twin-turbo.

The owner makes a big deal about it because it is the ONLY one in NORTH AMERICA.

Which I guess kind of makes my car original, as it is the 89+ body with a pre-89 front end on it. I have yet to see a single mk3 with this. There are people with the pre-89 body's that swap over to the 89+ body style and keep there stock pre-89 front end.....But you would have to know about mk3 supra's to understand what I am talking about....

Young gun 02-18-2005 11:35 PM

Blackout whats the fuss about if he cantappreciate that car let him enjoy his civic.... after all read his user name :supergay:

SuprAdam 02-18-2005 11:43 PM

Just trying to explain it to him, but I guess some people are just to simple minded.

for the last time, that car could be the only one in the world, it doesn't matter bcause I WAS NOT bashing the car. choice of words: "unveiling" "first time in three yrs"...omg LOL, the more i argue this the more i laugh.

Hnmmm, take your own advice buddy.

Words in my post are quoted from the owner of the car. Please show me where he said the word "unveiling" ? or "First time in three years" ? He said here is what it looked like THREE YEARS AGO.

Contrary to your s/n, you MUST be a mustang owner

ivperformance 02-19-2005 06:35 PM

i think the front lights cz use interior cleaning, to make the glass more see through and clean.
