Supra Fourms

Does anyone know a fourm all about supra's other than www.torontosupraclub.com , i have tried to register on www.suprafourms.com but i got a message saying "the admin has disabled this function".

dj_jake 01-27-2006 12:24 AM

supraforums doesnt allow all year round registration. keeps the trolls off.

mkiv.com is a mkiv supra board
club-nat.com is another for na to turbo setups for the 2jzge motors

do you even own a supra dude? i know a guy on this board has supra in his name, but doesnt even own one

SuprAdam 01-27-2006 10:03 AM

I know of several mk3 supra specific forums.

But if you don't own one they won't let you on. As Jake said, there are to many trolls that like to register and cause . You will only be able to register by refferal.

I don't have a supra right now, but i hope to in the next year. It will be a MKIII supra , non-turbo.

That is like buying a v6 camaro or mustang.

How come you are looking at Non turbo ones?

There is no way in hell you are a primary driver and only paing $153. You have one of your parents are a primary?

I am 20 and my insurance was $400+/month on an '89 supra turbo, that is with me being the only driver on it.

The N/A WILL be cheaper, by at least half. But, to be honest with you, unless you are planning on doing a turbo swap into your N/A chassis, it really is pointless to buy one.

1. It will be rusted out, if not it will cost more than it is worth
2. They are a DOG, brutally slow when stock. With every mod available besides FI you won't be able to get past mid 13's, even that is rare.
3. You will eat gas.

The supra is a great car and all, but buying the N/A and leaving it an N/A is pointless to own. I sugesst turboing it or looking to another platform, especially as a daily driver.

im primary driver on my car. I pay for it myself. i have 0 tickets (well other then those 2 ones which dont affect insurance at all) and i dont know if it makes a difference but my parent have never gotten any tickets in their entifre life. Yeah NA's aren't worth the money. Just swap in a Turbo motor and make sure you get a NA with the sport package which will get you the real good diff that came in the supras.

who the hell is your insurance company?!?!

Supra90T 02-06-2006 11:37 AM

NA works for an alright winter beater. Or donor car for an NA-T...That's about it

And what the hell...153 a month? I'd be paying like 6-8 times that if my car was on the road. Damn no insurance ticket...

i don't know why everyone gets penalized. Honestly i am gratefull that i get 153 a month now. it was like 256 like 3 months ago then they lowered it.

SuprAdam 02-08-2006 11:23 AM
