$105 Parking Ticket?

What's up yall. I was at the park this weekend for a fam-jam and when I got back to my ride I had a ticket. Yes, I did park in a spot that wasn't a spot, nothing near a fire hydrant and nothing obstructing the road. It was actually one of those spots that are hashed out with yellow lines while there is a spot behind it. Anyway, $105 seems a bit steep. The code on the ticket is 250 and the cop's chicken scratch says "park in p???? not in designated area":loser: . anyone have any ideas?

did you think of that all by yourself? i suppose that's what passes for wit on this forum as i've seen that reply before.

jerk.

i was just asking if anyone had any ideas as to what code 250 meant. i hope you get a snarky reply by an equally unimaginative person the next time you ask for information.

no idea, but i can tell u some cops just like to **** around with u, i got a $115 ticket when i was parked in my gf's driveway which was a townhouse, and the bak end of my jeep was stickin onto the road by 4 inches, and there was a fire hydrant right next to her house, so the cop considered that me parkin on the road and in an illegal zone, and the shitty thing was, was that i was just droppin my gf off and went inside for 5 mins and by the time i got bak out the guy had already written the ticket and taken off

Well, you asked "anyone have any ideas?" and provided no hint as to what you wanted ideas about. Seeing as parking tickets are usually issued under the authority of local bylaws, and given that local bylaws are unique to individual cities and towns out there, a code 250 could mean anything at all.

If you have a specific thing you are trying to find out, then you should ask a specific question. When you ask a vague question, you yourself have opened the door to whatever follows.

1. Ignore goldmember's legal advice.
2. Contest the ticket. Do your research and take it to trial. Let us know what you learn. There's nothing more to lose and you might even win.
