4 traffic tickets in a week. Stop sign and red light. Not sure what to do

These tickets were served in the same vicinity, almost a block apart. It was also early in the month (dont know if that makes a difference, Sept. 7-14) I need some advice.

Im not sure of the best course of action, this is my first time and having to deal with 4 is making me a bit anxious.

I've pleaded guilty to the first two tickets and have set a court date. (I may have made the wrong move on this one) I really just want to have the points dropped and if possible lowered fines. That is why I chose the second option.

The other two tickets I have yet to do anything with them. I have until the 29th to do something.

1st Ticket: Disobey stop sign, fail to stop $110, 3points

It was at a T intersection. I was heading north, making a left turn at the stop sign. There was an officer parked on a resident parking in front of me. It was one of those vehicles that are dark coloured, the Police logo is difficult to see, and no lights on top . He then pulled out of the driveway and flagged me down.

2nd Ticket: Obstruct plate. $ 110, ?points?

The same time as the first ticket, I was served with this ticket. My license plate had a clear plastic cover from back in 2002 when the dealership put it on. Over the 7 years it has become a yellow tint.

3rd Ticket: Red Light fail to stop. $180, 3 points

Was at another T intersection. I was making a right turn at the red light, I stopped to make sure it was safe. I remember stopping because I got a ticket for almost the same thing a week ago, a blot away. There was a officer in the process of making a U turn. I believe that he was in the process of pulling over the taxi ahead of me but got me in the process. Maybe he lost the taxi, other cars were coming and I was turning. I was flagged down. He said "I saw the expersion on your face, it looked like you knew what you did wrong"

4th Ticket: Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit, $110, ?points?

Same time as the third ticket. There was no license plate sticker on my registration. My father forgot the sticker. (I didnt know this had to be done, fathers car) The sticker on the plate was valid till 2010 though.

The officer was really nice and helpful regarding how to go about the ticket. He said if I take it to court he'd be willing to tell the judge that I did slow down, there were no cars coming and no pedestrians, it was safe to go. He also said, if I to bring my registration to court with the sticker the judge would probably drop it. I vaguely remember but mentioned that if go to court the judge would probably drop one ticket reduce the other one but not the points.

Question, in court, if your plead innocent and the court finds your guilty will the judge be more harsh and less willing to drop points and fines?

Thats is 6 pending points on my license. I may get a letter of warning and I'm worried my insurance is going to increase.

obstruct plate and expired permit both 110 dollars no points. Plead not guilty and loose .. courts can impose 500 dollar fine on charges if they wanted to... would that happen.. I don't know.

No offence but you sound at fault for all of those inwhich you knew better. It doesn't matter if you can spot the cop or not you're supposed to come to a FULL complete stop at every red/stop light its common sense.
It doesn't matter if the plate's been on there for a month and yellowed, or that the dealership put it on. Im against the law's opinion on all plate covers being illegal as IMO it protects the plate so that they can read it. Its purpose is to help them for christ sake, but at the end of the day its hit and miss to be pulled for that. They constantly say they're not legal. Its dumb yes but they are. Would I take mine off knowing all that? No.
Fight em to try and get some off or lowered, but unfortunately doesnt look like it's going to help much.

Goodluck man.
