Try and find a good insurance broker. They can find you the best price usually because they don't deal with just one company, they deal with many. It can also save you from having to call around to a whole bunch of companies.

just a thought...

RYC3 01-13-2007 12:06 PM

turbotypeie 01-13-2007 06:19 PM

i posted it it bc he gave me such a good deal and i have been fu*k around by them because of the car but he had no problem with it just wonted to see it in person, his name and number are there for anyone to use i never stop looking for a better price.

jessedavid 01-21-2007 01:58 AM

get a broker they will shop around for you

neverl0enuf 01-22-2007 04:41 AM

i deal with both state farm and kingsway (kellar and asc) kingsway was cheap but there retarded to deal with, i love state farm... a bit pricey but its way better service and they will help you out alot more in the long run

flight_90 01-23-2007 12:51 PM

if i got a broker... do i have to pay him/her upfront and how much... like what if he doesnt find a deal that im looking for and im like fuk its too much... how much do i pay him/her?

MasterXan 01-24-2007 07:18 PM

I don't think brokers charge you. They just find you a good deal and I think they get commisions from the insurance companies.

birdie92k 01-24-2007 10:44 PM

FC....you should do the drivers certificate course....its worth the approx. $300 cuz it saves you a decent bit in insurance a month.

i got the course done about 5 months ago almost 6..
but still they want alot... like honestly how can they judge new drivers more of a "high risk" driver if the driver hasnt proved to them anything wrong?
and shouldnt a drivers course certificate give them proof that i can drive. jesus christ!!! these people ripp off all these new drivers and they havent done anything WTF:retard:

lol anyways
if i cant find anything better then 4981/year then ill take it.

ive tried that kanetix website, and all the companies listed want too much$$

help me out please:dunno:

Porto man, How many tickets do you have? How many insurance claims do you have? Have you ever been insured under your parents? (Can you do that now??)Have you taken a drivers training course (ie. Young Drivers, CAA)?

This info plays a big role, especially being 18. Some of them you can change (ie. Dealing with tickets, aquiring training certificate).

If your parents can hook you up, you would save prolly 1 to 2 gs by being under their policies.

Or, get yourself a crib in the boonies and your rates will drop.

FCPorto_Q10 01-25-2007 06:31 PM

well i am 18, got my drivers training course...i never been insured, no tickets nothing. BUT i dont know if this is true or not.. but i think i cant drive as a second driver... thats what my dads insurance told him once he asked to get me in as a second driver. the brokers responce was because we have 2 cars and only 2 drivers in the house, Me and my dad as drivers. a acura, and ford pickup as the 2 cars... the broker said: 1 car for each driver.

you think i can get 2nd driver with anyone else? or is the guy just trying to scam me?

im pretty sure thats why its up to the 5000$ range... and thats with 1 way insurance only LOL. i need to be a second driver.. any opinions or suggestions?:dunno:

i just did a quote on the web cheapest i found under my dads name as 2nd driver would be 2271$/year what a difference PLUS its full coverage.

and i did one with 1 way insurance. its 1758$/year with the same company.

they just give me those prices but i dont know how it works.. if thats total for the car for me and my dad.. or if thats a price for each person? or something...
