You can probably get off that ticket with a first attendance meeting.

You might get off at a first attendance. But then again maybe not, because there is no lesser offence (for example speeding can be reduced), and it's a very easy offence for the prosecutor and officer to prove in court. But, on the bright side there are no points associated with this offence, and the fine is minimal. So is it worth your time taking a day off for first attendance, having no resolution, then taking a second day off for court?

you have 24 hours to goto the station and show them your license have the ticket dropped.

^^^ ur sig is ing huge man and not really amusing... and the 24 hour thing is up to the cop isnt it?.. like a grace period

Blacky 07-18-2005 10:35 AM

Thats right (on both points). The police can give someone a report in notice instead of a ticket, but they dont seem to give those out too often. Since the officer decided to issue the ticket, showing up at the station with the paperwork will be a waste of time.

i'm surprised... cops here give you 24 hours to prove and show them your lisence, if not you get fined.....
