Fine 150$ because I load my kids on disability sign with car running
 

I got a parking ticket (value 150$) only because I stopped my car on front of one mall in Toronto. It was night 8pm, -20C and my baby - 9 months (with fever) and another one age of three. My wife ask me to drive closer to put fast the baby on the car, so I stopped on one disability parking stop, considering that I will put my kids in 20 seconds and I will leave right away. On that moment the parking guy give me the ticket,he didn't accept any explanations telling me that he is doing his job.... Of course I am going to court... but I have any chances?

I'm not sure (but I'm sure there are others here who are sure) but I would get a doctors note for your baby right now. That way in 6-8 months when you fight it, maybe they will be sympathetic. I'm not certain though...

fuken parking cops. and whats wose is its mall parking copsd. those are the ones who couldnt even make it as parking cops. fuken high school drop outs.

there's really no defense for parking illegally in a handicapped spot, so you can try giving the court your sob story and hope they reduce the fine. then again, i'm not a parent myself (not yet at least), but if it's -20 below and my 9 month old baby had a fever, i question why you were out shopping instead of staying home in a warm house.

well i went to buy some pills from pharmacy. But that doesn't matter anymore. I am really confused the fact that myself I was stationary..illegally....and not parking illegally in that spot. What is the real meaning of that sign?

finding it hard to comprehend what you're trying to say or what you did exactly. so were you IN the handicapped space or parked perpendicular to it and blocking an empty space?

LOL I had a run in with one of those punks. He pulls out his flash-light trying to act like a cop ahaha. He asks for my registration, license, etc. I simply rolled up the window started the car and just left slowly knowing he cant do . If he touched my car I prob. woulda kicked his ass. :smokin:
