Got a b.s. ticket
 

Don't know what the case is for this but..

I was driving home around midnight behind another car (it was a 1 lane road) when the road split into two lanes, I hoped into the right lane and the corolla in the left..we both are driving doing about 80 in a 70 about 2km later I see the pig behind me. Suprise suprise cherries go on...

Walks upto my car and says "son, you were going incredibly fast through the zone" i replie with "there was that corolla infront of me the entire time".

He says "mmmhmm, provide me your DL, insurance, and ownership please"

I wait about 20 minutes..I can see these pricks sitting in the cop car all :turbogfight:

He comes back and says "I'm letting you off very easy here son, you were going insanely fast through the 1 lane, you have a very loud exhaust which is a $110 ticket but im being nice and not giving it to you..but you did fail to surrender your insurance to me so thats a $65 ticket"

I reply with "my exhaust is stock sounding and theirs no noise, and the insurance is in your hand right now, look at it"

He looks at it stutters and mumbles "i got a call i need to attend to, you can go fight the ticket in court"

I grab it from his hand and say " look right here, here is the expiration date and policy date"

He walks away saying "the info is on the back, you can go deal with it"

I got a fail to provide insurance ticket but it was in his hand the entire time.

bring the slip and state your case in court, thats all you can really do now. It's a bitch, but after you've taken the ticket, your gonna have to simply appear. No doubt in my mind, the cop wont even show.

I think you may want show the proogf insurance at the attendance meeting and they will dismiss the charge, remember to get the name and the note from the crown who dissmissed the charge; once everything is clear write a complaint about the pig
