Hitting a moose on Hwy
unfortunetly ive had the bad luck of hitting a moose on the hwy.. car is wrecked.. but im still alive.. i will need plastic surgery, and off work for atleast 12 weeks.. was just wondering if it ever happened to anyone before.. if anyone had any information about compensation/insurance things, like i was driving home from work, but im not sure if its better to go with compensation or not.. im with cooperators if thats any help at all...

Workers compensation will cover an hour of traveling time before/after your shift. ( don't know what they can do for you though )
Insurance will deem it as your fault ( cause they have no one else to blame it on ) when you claim it. Dont' know which one would be better.. Hope you get better soon |
even if you travel from outta town??

sorry to hear that
but did u take the moose home and cook it? |
Actually, I dont know if your insurance thing is true. My dads hit 2 deer in his pickup truck and wrote it off through insurance. Neither one of them were "at fault" and his rates didnt go up at all. That being said, he didnt write the truck off, but just did a $1000 in damages.
