Interesting Unnecessary Noise Ticket Please Help

Well long stroy short I got a unnecessary noise ticket but the real kicker here is when the guy wrote out the ticket he has my license plate number then it says year 08 but where it says the make of the car it says HONDA and my ownership and insurance that he did not check clearly says "Make" Acura. And my car has emblems in the front and back and even says the words Acura on the back... So should I pay this ticket or what should I do???

same questions over and over again ..

the "08" refers to the renewal year of your plates, not the model year of your car. minor mistakes like the make of your car can be amended on the day of your trial, so long as the officer got your plates and HTA code correctly than you can't use that as a defense.

unnecessary noise does not carry points, and may not even be considered a moving violation for your insurance company. it's pretty much just a cash grab. depending on how much your time is worth (say, if you had a full-time job), than you decide if you want to fight the ticket, or pay it and just move on.

ya i guess but how could you mess that up... like the make of someones car... i know its 110$ but i was just curious... how long does this stay on my driving record???

you should have written the cop a ticket for unecessary police man . ****ing guy , kilos of coke move through jane and finch and he worries about mufflers, harrasing people that pay his salary

fight every ticket every time . the more we fight the less they will b able to give

coszmin 05-27-2008 06:20 AM

fighting tickets only increases national income . judges get work , cops get work , ex cops get work , and they can justify additional taxes , while also increasing profits because , as you know . . .

fighting a ticket will only give you a minimal reduction on your sentence which you would get by yourself , by displaying a sad puppy face to the judge . but they want you to hire ex cops so that the economy gets fueled artificially by unnecessary things .

I fight those tickets my own way . I left the ****ing country . And I havn't gotten a speeding ticket in over 2 years ! Because I can drive 150 on the highway ( except in holland where they probably want you driving slower so you polute less, and i respect their laws , because they built a real country) , and salute the cops as i pass them , and they do nothing , because the highway is built for you to drive fast on it , not for them to harass you , and everyone around me is doing 150 because they are capable of driving.

meant to say this before but I was told if I plead not guilty Ill have to pay court fees on top of the fine. Or court fees if im found not guilty and possible chance that they will increase the fine if im found guilty??
