im 17 with a g2... lookin for insurance (liability only) on a 93 civic si coupe..... it's got 200km 5sp... what is the best insurance company to go through... i want to put it under my own name i tried belair and it was like almost 300 a month which is kind of alot for liability only

300 is decent for a guy your age and a car of that type. Plus you have only a g2. I would say stick with it for a couple of years to build yourself some insuarance history. Your not gonna find it much cheaper anywhere else... im surprised at even 300 that seems low. Anyhow, your insurance premiums will drop year by year just maintain a good record and go get your G when you qualify

until your 21 its going to be steep everywhere you go, my best advice since I'm in the insurance biz is to get your G license as soon as you can, might not help right away, but in a couple years it will. Most companies don't count all years at the G2 level so get the G when you can.
