lucky me
got a stupid ticket for not displaying my front plate cz the hardware to mount it was broken, officer was nice though, gave me a ticket, and told me to fix it, go to court, and he'll drop the charges, it's another stupid HTA ticket, somebody told me that HTA doesnt affect insurance, is it true?

Wow.. deja vu.
HTA is short for Highway Traffic Act. It covers everything from littering on a highway to Dangerous Driving and beyond. Anything you're charged with in there can and will affect your insurance rates, including Failure to Display Plate.
