You can easily get that fought off or at least reduced to 110 which means you would onl get fined with no demirit points. Also, if your court date is over a year, it's practically off.

sucks, its gonna be hard to get no points beucase almost always they jsut reduce the fine and stick all the points, (refering to the "deal" before hand) i know i had a stop sighn ticket and exprie plate ticket. proscuter wanted to take out the plate ticket and stick me with the full 3point 110 stop sighn. lucky for me court was rescedualed and the next apperance the cop didnt show and i was free! A buddy jsut had a speeding ticket also. took the deal which was full points and reduced from $150 to $55

The cops get notified of the changes to court dates and are required to attend court. If they go on their days off even better for them as they get paid time and a half (min 4 hrs ). Basically you're just wasting your time by going down to change the date.

The cop is going to show, count on it.

The ticket doesn't get registered until a ruling has been made on it. So if you have to wait 9 months before a court date, that's 9 months that your insurance company doesn't know that you've got a ticket.

u got 2 options

option 1: pay fines, lose points increase insurance

option 2: go to court, they will make a deal with u. probably drop the speeding limit and give you a lower fine + no demerit points. or cop doesnt show and ur free.

imo..option 2
