Need advice on a speeding ticket
 

A month ago I got a ticket for going 115 on a 60 zone. I got a court apperance so he didnt just give me a ticket and points. So now I dont know what to say to the judge, I cant afford to hire any paralegals or anything. Can anyone help with this issue and what I should say? My court is on wensday.

Come up with a SOB story. Tell them you have a job, tell them you cant afford the insurance if it goes up but you will pay ANY set out fine they give you.

tell the judge im an idiot and i was speeding.
tell him u learned from your mistake and would like to know if u can get a lesser fine.
the judge isnt 12, hes heard the type of bs story you wanna feed him many times before.

From what I heard right now I am looking at $500, 6 points and 30 day suspension. It would be stupid to tell the judge "I am an iddiot and I was speeding". I need a good story.

6 points, tell the judge youre going to kill yourself when your insurance goes up and that will cost the tax payers. :smile:

You were going 55km/h over the limit, 5 km/h short of double the limit and you say the cop was an ass? You want advice? Buy a good pair of walking shoes and a bus pass. Unless you had an invisible friend in the passenger seat having a massive heart attack and you were enroute to the hospital, you probably aren't going to get much sympathy from a JP.
