i parked next to the eaton centre few weeks back right on james st next to old city hall. now the meter was frozen shut..all 3 of them i tried em all. cop gave me a ticket...i reasoned with him he took the ticket away. now got a letter in mail saying pay $50.00 can someone help? what shud i do? the cop tuk my ticket back so i thot i dont hafta worry bout it nomore.

You do realize there are 3 major parking lots and therein thousands of other spaces available in the direct vicinity of the Eaton Center, right?


-Dundas Square at the north End
-Nathan Phillips Square to the West
and lest we forget the 4 floors of parking INSIDE the Eaton Center.


Your excuse of the box being frozen is insufficient, even if it were true. Dare I suggest find another spot to park? I guarantee it would have been cheaper than the $50 ticket you got.


Pay the damned fine.
