Renewing plates

whats goin on well my long story short is my tags are expired and i only have fire and theft on my car... but i still drive it i was wondering how i can go about getting my tags renewed does anybody know??

You are driving illegally. While the no tags is not a big deal, no insurance is. I believe the fine is about $5,000. Having an accident, hurting someone and being sued can ruin the rest of your life.

Renew the tags. If the car is in your name, you provide proof of insurance and valid etest results (if it needs one), and pay for the licence.

Do yourself a huge favour and get proper insurance.

the reason the tags are a big deal to me is because if a cop types up my license plate number he can see that my plates are expired so i get pulled over right away and i know there are people out there not saying here maybe maybe not that don't have or never had insurance on there car.

honestly having insurance on ur car might seem like a waste of money but jus yesterday i got into an accident with fire and theft...the other guy was in the wrong n nothings wrong with his car, yet styll i need a new upper rad support, bumper and possibly a rad/rebar, good thing i styll have my old lights...point is if i had insurnace my car would be fixed by his insurance co.

yea but ur rates would go up to but how do u get ur tags renewed??

first, call your insurance company and put liability back on your car.
then go to the ministry and buy your sticker.
then continue driving knowing that your are no longer an .

otherwise park your car and take the bus.

i find this funny. Because there are ppl who are old enough to know english and type their problems on a forum, but not old enough to make responsible decisions in life.

I know a couple of guys who are pulling the same scam. Just have their insurance slip, and no actual coverage. You know what man you may not believe me but every last one of those guys I know, have been caught or been in an accident which has lead them into court proceedings. You think a cop wont call your insurance company on the spot to see if your coverage is vaild? Ive seen it done.

And to be honest its guys like you that pull nonsense like this, get into crashes and make the honest ppl in this world pay more for their insurance rates.

All I can say is I hope you get insurance, and if not, hope you get caught. And Im sayin that for your sake as much as
the rest of ours.

And not to rag on you as your obviously posting for assistance and not critism, but insurance is a big deal to me so I had to put my 2 cents in

Leung 07-21-2007 12:15 AM

rofl do what u want to do, its not illegal till u get caught and noone does 10 over either

Kuztom Freak 07-21-2007 03:25 AM

yes you can show a slip as it wont say what sort of coverage you have. so you can lie and get yer tags - however if you read the shite on the wall - you'd see that providing false info will get yer ass in a bind, it is a government office and documents you are attesting to, so know that bit.
