Stop Sign Ticket

Hi all,

Need some advice on a ticket I got this morning. I didn't make a complete stop at a stop sign and got pulled over. The cop (really nice to me) suggested me to go set a time for "first attendance" at the court and she will agree to reduce the charge when asked.

It's my first time getting a traffic ticket since I got my license 10 years ago and I'm not too familiar with the procedure, can someone guide me through the process? What's the difference between first attendance and actually seeing the judge? I don't mind paying the fine, but the points will hurt insurance pretty badly, did someone successfully get rid of the point with a stop sign ticket?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

ignore StealthZ hes apparently retarded

first attendance is basically a meeting with the prosecutor where you get offered a deal or no deal and you either take it your dont. If you refuse what they offer you can go tyo court and see the judge.
Lots of people manage to reduce a stop sign ticket to no points far as I hear, especially freom that the cop told you i think your chances are good.

sorry but what?

um, what i gave was advice. stopping would prevent this from ever happening again, and it could even help with points and insurance rates.

Well sure if you're trying to make a joke...

otherwise its like what 2% of drivers make a complete proper stop at an empty all-way? If you were just completly serious your comment was meaningless.

I should ask the same of you...

I saw everyone here ragging you out before, didn't quite know why, now I suppose its clearer, you're a pretentious prick. If thats the advice you are gonna give every time, then don't waste your ****ing time no ones listening to your gibberish.

dont mind him voltar, stealth is a lil :retard: so^^^^^would have to agree
...but for advice since the ticket was already given ..you need advice as of now..first thing is to make a court date then you wait probably 3 - 7 months for paper in the mail telling you your time date for your trial....then go to trial cop not there u get everything taken off if hes there he will most likely talk to YOU to work something out, or with prosecuter and they you most likely take off your points whitch i believe are 2 or 3 for stop and also cut the fine in half if he/she nice..
note you have nothing to lose fighting tickets .....
theres is info on back of ticket also..to help you out
