What should I do pay it or just ignore it?:dunno:
great info....
Where in the US?
I received a ticket in PA 5 years ago... never paid it and there were no consequences. In fact the cop recommended that I ignore it :) |
lmao nice
Yeah I got a ticket from PA. I think I'll just ignore it then.
Thanks for the info.. |
I got a ticket also in PA and ignored it. They track it by your plate number. So just don't get caught with the same plate there again.

I went to the states with my parents last christmas and my dad got a ticket... Anyway we ignored and then we got a notice in the mail stating that if my dad doesn't pay immediately, or either he, or his representative doesn't show up to court on ____ date then they will suspend his license in the state of New York... but it was a serious ticket.. 100mph in a 70 I think it was...
It also depend what state you were in. I would pay the NY one.
yeah you have to pay NY or Michigan, also those 2 states reflect in our points system.
Just like everyone said... ignore everything but NY / Michigan, just because they have the same points system as us
Not sure if they have the actual same system but in the the last few years they made an agreement with Ontario to report tickets across the border.

My buddy got cought speeding on NY,so he ignored the speeding ticket and came back to Toronto. But after one year he went back to NY to visit his one of his friend, and he got
cought speeding again. What happened is he ended going to NY headquarter stayed there for one day and half. For not paying the speeding ticket. He eventually paid the ticket plus the interest. The moral of the story is don't ignore it just pay it.Look what happened to my buddy he got f#ck for not paying it.(But it's up to you,if you want to pay it or not) |
Had a friend that received a speeding ticket somewhere in the mid south several years ago. He had to follow the officer to the small town courthouse, and was given the option of paying the ticket, putting a downpayment towards it and paying more later, or doing some time in their jail (1 night or so).

so i just read the Vancouver forum. so is it true that you don't have to pay fines if you change your license plates? or if you get a new car? it sounds too good to be true but if someone could tell me in detail that would be great
