Vehicle Report Notice - Defect Repair Verification Notice
 

On the weekend i got pulled over and i was given a vehicle report notice. Basically i have to take my car to be inspected in aurora on saturday april 28. Did anyone else get this? Or has anyone else gotten this be4? Im trying to figure out wat they are goin to be lookin for.

Nah, they run a safety blitz every now and then. I got it when I was a kid. I had to take my car to the MTO building where an inspector did a general safety check in the parking lot. If they find any issues, they make you fix it by a certain date or they'll pull the plates. No big deal. They didn't pull wheels, or poke the floor with a screwdriver or anything.

I got one for the same day, apparently they are more tough now and have certified mechanics that check literally everything, take wheels off, look for anything loose, motor swaps, e-test on the spot etc.
This is ridiculous I know at least 5 friends that got this notice, and they were all around peel and york region last sat night just sitting in a parking lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think im screwed so im just gonna trailor the thing expecting them to pull it off the road.

yeah i got one too "vehicle report notice" on the 28th in aurora this is some bullshit i need to know what they do

Trailer it there with no plates and tell them that you've sold it since you recieved the notice. What can they say? If it ever comes up after the fact, tell them the deal fell through. I have no idea if this would work, but...
